There should be a link underneath where
it says forgot password. Click on it and it
will help you reset it.

Yahoo mail is a funny animal..
The best thing you can do, in your case, is to email Yahoo at their contact us address and tell them what your problems are !
It may take several day's before you recv. a answer but if you have no flags with yahoo and have or have had an account with yahoo, they may be able to help you out.
Caution...
Never give out your email information and really never give out your password information.
