Be forewarned: If you only have one email address associated with your account, losing access to your email could mean losing access to your Facebook. You can still access your account by using your email address and password. Also, you can find a lost password by mobile phone if you assigned one. If you forgot your password or email address, you can do the following:
"If you registered a username, try logging in using your username and password. A username is your personalized Facebook URL (web address) and appears in the location bar of your browser after "http://www.facebook.com/" when you view your profile. After logging in, visit the Settings tab on the Account page to locate the email address you use to log in."OR "Ask one of your Facebook friends to view your profile and send you the email address listed on your account. To do this, ask your friend to click on the "Info" tab on your Profile page and scroll down to 'Contact Information.'"
You need atleast the email address that had been used and should be able to log in. There is on other way, you can delete that account. If you are still able to see the profile on that account, you might get the email address he used in ine info tab (if he allowed that to be shown then).
you can also just leave it alone and maybe, eventually it will get deleted automatically. Or you cam write mail to facebook support with request to delete the account with proper information that your son had hat accound along with the link to the profile.
you can check through your friends account and then you find out info of your account, collect your email address and then send a request form facebook that you forgot password. you will receive a mail about your password and then log in and cancel it
Hi, I had the same problem when someone guessed my facebook password and started writing messages to my friends. I found out that I couldn't fully delete the Facebook profile, but I deleted all the information/photos etc and applications and friends from it. That was before Facebook changed over to the new look, though, but you should still be able to delete all the information.. Hope this helps
This is only a temporary "fix" for some people who need to access their accounts: I've got the same problem BUT I can still access the mobile version (m.facebook.com) on my phone - a Nokia N95 8GB running on Symbian.
