I think I deleted accidently a microsoft program using the add/remove. Since then the usb ports no longer work. I've gone into the devise manager, using the troubleshooting, but still nothing. I tried uninstalling, updating...nothing. My system is windows xp. Any advise would be extremly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the advice. Still no go. Restore point not possible since the problem happened 10 days ago and it won't go back that far. Any other advice?

Have you tried a restore to an earlier date, choose a date on which the ports were still active. Click start, click all programs, click accessories, click system tools, click system restore, choose restore my computer to an earlier time, select date. You can also roll back drivers by clicking start, click control panel, click system, click hardware, click devise manager, click on universal serial bus controllers, rt click on your usb port if it is there and choose update driver. Good luck.

Search the web for a free program called Recuva. Download and install it on your computer. Plug your SD card into a card reader and connect it to a USB port on your computer. Run Recuva and follow the instructions to recovered the deleted pictures from the SD card. This will only work if the card has NOT been used since the pictures were deleted. If the card has been used, the deleted files may have been overwritten and they are gone.

I've used Recuva to find and recover pictures that I have deleted from my recycle bin when I emptied it. Try to download the program from the Recuva site since many of the download sites now try to slip stuff you won't want into their downloads. Be careful to uncheck any boxes that attempt to add automatically things like toolbars, search engines and other unwanted programs.

No Connection

Hi Norm,

First, try a different USB device in the USB Ports, to make sure they are not disabled.

Uninstall the DWL-G120 Drivers, in the add/remove programs. Unplug the device. Download and install this program.
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html

Click on Options, check each one. Click on all instance of the USB device you want to remove, (Marked Disconnected.), and under File, click on Uninstall Selected devices You can hold the CTRL key to select more than one.
Once they are all cleared, Open My Computer and go to C drive. Delete any folders left over from the DWL-G120.
Reboot, and reinstall the drivers, and plug in the device.
If that don't work, you can try a different USB port for it.
Good Luck!

How can i remove kvusb security from my epro 4gb flashdisk

You should always remove and uninstall programs from your PC that you are not using. It could be beneficial to your computer's productivity and functioning to free up space. You run the risk of running out of space on your computer if you add too many programs without uninstalling some. It is a relatively easy process, but you should be sure you are not removing a program that is necessary to the operation of your computer.

Click "Start" and select "Programs." Click "Control Panel" and "Programs" and "Programs and Features." Browse the list of programs on your computer and select one that you want to remove. Click "Uninstall." You may be prompted for permission from the administrator to remove the program. Enter the administrator password or confirmation if necessary. Check the properties of the program if it is not listed in "Programs." You can do this by right-clicking on the program desktop icon and selecting "Properties." Check to see if the program is compatible with the version of Windows that you are using. Click "Start" and "Run," to manually remove the programs if the uninstall option does not completely uninstall the program. Type "Regedt32" in the box and click "OK." Locate the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall" registry key and click "Export" under the "File" tab. Click "Desktop" on the "Export Registry File" dialog box. Type "Uninstall" in the "File Name" box and select "Save." The left panel of the Registry Editor will display the programs that are currently installed. Right-click the key in the left panel of the Registry Editor window. Click "Delete." Click "Yes" when you are asked to confirm deletion of the program. Click the "File" menu and select "Exit." This will exit the Registry Editor. Click "Start" and "Control Panel" and click "Add or Remove Programs." Confirm that the program is no longer listed here.

Installation

If you have deleted the program from your computer, you should be able to plug the Coby player (TURNED OFF) to the computer and re-install it.

If Coby Manager program is no longer on the Coby player (If you re-formatted the player), you can get a copy of the MANAGER here:

CobyMedia Manager fix for MP822 (Windows XP/2000/Vista)

Don't let it throw you that it says it's for the MP822 - it also works great for the MP610

1. Install Coby Media Manager from download

2. Open Media Manager

3. Plug your COBY player (THAT IS TURNED OFF) into the USB port - it will show up in the "DEVICE" tab

HP PSC 1513 ALL IN ONE - NOT CONNECT WITH MY LOP TOP-FUJITSU SEIM

First remove the USB lead from the Laptop, then go to the control palel/printers and faxes and delete the printer if listed.

Than go to add/remove programmes and remove any HP software installed.

Reboot and reinstall drivers and software connect the printer when asked to by the install prog.

I'm presuming you have the correct drivers for your OS if not go here and download them

FlipShare software won't install

I had the same problem when plugging my Flip into the USB port. Kept saying a file was corrupted. I went to the Pure Digital Technologies website and downloaded the upgrade/program directly and it installed fine. You might try that if you already haven't.

My ML-2510 samsung printer stopped printing?

Delete printer Icon in the "printers and faxes" dialog box, then use the software installation Cd to re-install it. Also, depending what software that printer uses, there may be a "Samsung" software to delete in "add/Remove programs" in the "control panel" as well. I would delete everything and start from scratch.
Select the proper port when setting up. I assume you are using a "USB" port?

Microsoft Camera software

Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
