Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T300 Digital Camera

1 Answer

I have a Sony T300 and when I take pictures in any format.. Then go to the playback it flips the pictures so they aren't taking up the whole screen. And I have to go back and manually rotate them 90 degrees for them to look right. It just started doing this about 2 months ago and is very annoying. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it??

I am sorry. That did not work

  • letmego21 Jun 28, 2009

I really appreciate your help. That did not work either. I tried formatting it on my computer and through the camera. The only thing I haven't done is try a different memory card because I only have one. Any other ideas?

I tried initializing. About 6 times, after formatting, before formatting without a card in.. I even got a new card. Nothing worked.Do you have any other suggestions?

I fixed it, and for anyone else who ever has this problem. I went into settings, and under shooting settings 2... Turn auto orientation to OFF!! Thanks for all your help tho..

Format memory card or try another memory card if you have not taken back up of this memory card.

Reset (Initialize) always worked when camera started trouble with picture data writing on memory.
Please try again Initialize option as you will see camera ask you to put date and time info.

Sony cybershot t300 lcd screen remains dark when switched on

Hi,
Your camera must be experiencing these symptoms due to a faulty CCD, and not due to other problems. If the problem is due to your dropping the camera, you might be out of luck.
If you have not dropped your camera and still facing this problem, then contact service people to replace the CCD imager in your camera .

Hope this helps .
