Question about IBM ThinkPad T43 Notebook
Hi, when my thinkpad t43p starts warming up it displays a number of vertical lines on the screen. Switching to a external monitor does not help, they are still there! This means the problem is from the graphics card(i think). its a ATI Mobility fireGL V3200. If someone could just tell me if it can be fixed? I cant swap the graphics on a laptop!
Thank you very much.
You have identified the fault is the video card, I am in agreement. The fault is on the motherboard and a replacement motherboard is the only fix. This may not be a cost effective solution, I would recommend you put your money towards a new laptop.
