Hi
An inability to sign on usually means that the username or password entered is incorrect according to
their records, even if you are using credentials you have used successfully in the past. I would suggest changing your password as a starting option because then they will try to find your account based on the username etc.
If you go to
Google
then in the middle of the screen is the search box, but at the top right of the window are four to five options, one of which is "Gmail". If you click on this you will load a page where you can input your username and password. Under the sign in button, there is a "need help?" link. If you click on this the next page gives you three options, forgotten password, forgotten username and other problems. If you click in the circle next to "I don't know my password" and click continue. You will be asked for your email as registered with gmail, clicking continue will lead you to one of those annoying pages where you enter the characters displayed. On the next screen enter a gmail password you remember and then you will get a page to ask for a text message or automated phone call, whichever you prefer which will give you a code to enter into the next page and then you will be able to change your password.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers
