Bostitch just blows air when trigger is pulled

Air leaking from trigger when attempting to fire the gun is normal and should cause nailer to fire, however if the trigger pin is not depressed all the way in,the gun may not respond. Easy test. Remove the nails and remove the trigger. Connect the gun to air and quickly depress the valve pin all the way in with finger. If the gun fires, adjust the safety foot so that the trigger pin is depressed all the way in. If the gun still does not fire, then remove the head cap and pull out the headvalve. Apply plenty of white grease to orings and retest. If the gun fires, then replace the headvalve orings. When the headvalve orings are worn, air will leak from bulkhead chamber to the headvalve chamber causing the gun to not respond to the trigger. The addition of grease to worn orings will make them temporarily seal. Good luck

What makes machine shut off after 15-20 pounds of pressure how do I get it to run up to 100pounds of presure

Hi Tony:
There should be a pressure controlled switch.
It should have an adjustment, often with a lock nut.
If you back off the lock nut, the centre can be screwed inwards to increase the "trigger" pressure.
Your unit may not be exactly as I describe, but the principle will be the same.
Hope this helps.

Using presure washer - released trigger on nozzle could hear motor loadig up then a pop like something rubber bursting and water poured from under side and very little presure at nozzle help please.

Hello,

It would seem that your bypass/unloader valve has failed. This will happen if a unit has been sitting and corrosion builds up in the pump head.

The valve failing has caused it to pop an o-ring or seal, it will require to be stripped down and repaired.

Does anyone have a answer as to why all of a sudden theres no water and presure coming out of my jet washer

If there is no water from you power washer it is because the is no water going in. Check fitting is connected properly. When you pull the trigger and the machine is not running you should get water coming out of the nozzle That shows that water from the tap is passing through the machine. As to no pressure that will be a fault in the regulator valve that is not reacting to the trigger setting and allowing the pump to build up pressure. It is still reading as if you haven't pulled the trigger

The moter on my electric presure wash turns on and off but never really starts

if its when your trigger is on and it surges you might have a blocked nozzle, if its when you let your trigger off and it surges you have a leak on the high pressure side of the pump, but we need more information on what brand/model etc. best to take it to an authorised dealer of your brand

Pressure washer hesitates, does not start. Unable

get someone to keep the trigger pulled while you try to start it , its probably got presure trapped between the trigger and the pump.

alternatively turn off the water to the pump, pull the trigger to release any pressure trapped.

start the engine , allow engine to warm up, increase revs on engine then turn on water, should be ok then. Unless you have a problem with the engine that is!

hi there!
when you got as good as pipe pressure, you need to accelerate the speed motor to have a good pressurise water for your purpose, the pressure washer has a surge regulating valve as you trigger water gun the pressure blow up,as long
as you pull the trigger on the pressure build up pressure it has also equipt with pressure switch to regulate pressure and for safety purpose.you can also adjust the nozzle by rotating gradually to slim the pressure water out put.have a nice day, don't forget to rate me.thank's
