Question about Baby Lock Esante

Top thread keeps breaking on ESe2.

My top thread keeps breaking. I have changed threads, but that doesn't make any difference. This is a new problem, older machine.

Many things can inter fear with the thread and cause it to break. A common problem is the thread getting wrapped around the top tension rollers on that machine. You can take off the "face cover" (side cover on the left) and look from the side and see if the 2 little rollers have thread wrapped around or underneath them. Start there.

Futura quartet keeps shredding the top thread, help?

AVOID old or bargain bin thread--use only fresh, good quality thread. Try a brand new needle, perhaps switch to a top-stitch needle. Change to a different brand of thread. Check to make sure the top thread follows the correct threadpath and that no guides have been skipped or threaded out of order. Check that the top tension is not set too tight.

My sewing machine keep sewing a little bit but breaks the thread everytime the bottom thread is at 0 and 1 my top thread is at 2 or 3 and the top thread breaks please tell me what wrong I am new too.

possibly the top thread is being restricted in movement
check that the thread is between the tension plates and not behind it or knotted up in the way it is threaded
pull on the needle thread and it should move with a steady pull not very hard
if it is not moving fairly easily the check how you have the thread installed
also old thread will break easily as the bonding used to keep the strands together breaks down and is difficult for the thread to slide though the needle
another point is the needle to hook timing and the clearance there as well .
if there is a problem there , the hook will split the thread from the needle and break it
if you still have problems , take it to a sewing machine service center ( any one ) and they will advise of the problem and show you how to fix it

I have an Esante ESe2 and am having trouble with the upper thread breaking. I have checked bobbin case for fuzz and thread, re-wound the bobbin, re-threaded everything and nothing helps! Please help me...

Open the top part of the machine. My mom just bought one and it had lots of thread inthe thread path of the thread on top. You have to open up the area that the thread runs thru. It solved her problem of thread breaking. She found lots of thread inside.
