Im having problems with my Logitech wireless mouse connecting with my computer. I plugged in the usb connector and my computer doesnt see anything there and my mouse shuts off....what can i do to fix this...

First off try using that mouse on another laptop or computer. If it works on other computers then you know its an issue with the usb ports on your main computer.
If the mouse isn't working at all on any computer then try replacing the batteries. If the mouse still doesnt work then at that point the mouse is bad and it'll have to be replaced.

Keyboard Problems

Unplug the mouse and connect the keyboard where the mouse was connected check if that works, can you go into the bios with that keyboard ? if no then you might need to but windows with a ps\2 keyboard and installs the usb drivers for the keyboard that doesnt work.

Keyboard not recognized

I'm assuming it's a wireless keyboard?

Have you tried "ReSyncing" the keyboard?

1) On the base unit for the keyboard/mouse plugged into the computer press the button on it.
2) Press the button on the bottom of your keyboard.
3) Try to use the keyboard.

You might have to try it a couple of times. That'll fix the problem 99% of the time. The other 1% means your keyboard is dead.

There is usually a "Connect" button on the devices (Mouse & Keyboard) and on the receiver the unit connected to the computer. Hit the "Connect" button on the receiver then the ones on the Mouse and Keyboard.

Hopefully that works...

If not comment back.

Re: wireless mouse and keyboard; mouse not detected

I bought the same combo from a parts house. The guy told me the mouse didn't work but didn't know why. I had the same problem. When I inspected the mouse closely, I found that the connect button on the bottom of the mouse had stuck underneath the housing...basically in the "connect position". When I freed it, the mouse worked and still works just fine. Hope this helps
