Question about LG LHD45EL Dehumidifier
There is probably nothing wrong with your unit.If the relative humidity in the room reaches the level you have selected, the dehumidifier will turn itself off until the humidity rises again. If the bucket is full, it will prompt the shut-off switch, shutting off the unit. The green AUTO SHUT-OFF indicator will light up.Empty the bucket and the dehumidifier will operate as usual. If the temperature in the room is 65F (18C), the dehumidifier will turn itself off. Running at a low temperature causes frost to form on the coils, which interferes with proper operation.
When the set humidity is higher than the room humidity the compressor will shut off. Set the humidity control lower than the room humidity so the compressor will run in dehumidification. Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance.
