Question about Sub-Zero 601R
My 601R sub zero refrigerator has the notice vacuum condenser on. I did this but the notice came back within a day. I am also have condensation/freezing on the upper back panel of the unit. now what?
Your problem might be serious enough to warrant a repairman's visit. But this was my experience: An official Sub Zero repair company in NYC told me this: If the "vacumm condenser" light keeps flashing after you've opened and cleaned the condenser grill, then either pull out the plug for the Sub Zero refrigerator or turn off the circuit breaker (or fuse) in your house that leads to it, wait for some minutes and then turn back on. It is NOT enough to turn off the unit using its own internal on-off switch - it has to be totally disconnected from the AC. I did so, waited 15 minutes, turned back on, and it worked!! I had vacuumed the condenser grill twice but the "vacuum condenser" light kept flashing AND the refrig would go bonkers if set below 38. Now the flashing warning is off and it's down to 35. Great !!!
