you need to do a lot of test,
1. check in bios if your cd-drive or dvd- drive is in enable if not enable it.
2. if your cd drive was enable, try to insert another cd, if the cd you insert was read by cd- drive, the problem is your cd. then if the other cd you insert is also din't work the problem is the cd-drive or dvd- drive.
:P
The drive has NOT been able to read the directory of the disk you put in.
Possible causes:
Disk may be a DVD which your drive may not be able to read.
Disk may be a DL DVD (double layer) whcih your drive may not be able to read.
The disk might be a BluRay which your drive may not be able to read.
Your drive may be defective or have a dirty read head.
You may find that if you insert a blank CD instead of DVD you have more luck (the image you have created is a CD image not a DVD image). Another tip is that you should not copy the ISO image to CD but using Nero burn image to disk. Let me know if you need more help.

this is a READ error known as a CYCLIC REDUNDANCY READ ERROR. If the CD ROM is not able to read from the disc .. it gives u this error This can come due to many reasons 1. OLD CD ROM - not able to read data properly 2. CD with lot of scratches 3. CD not written properly: Data not burn properly on CD at the time of its make.
Solution: Try to insert a new CD in it and then check whether it works or not or get a CD LENS CLEANER DISC which will remove any kind of small debris on the lens on the CD ROM and then it will work. This would surely help
