The plug fuse may not have blown but the fuse inside set may have blown, or dry solder joints on pcb

I have one of those that is the same age and the 6.3 amp fuse was blown out. I replaced it with a 6 amp fuse (i could not find 6.3 nearby) and got a few more weeks use until the fuse blew out again. someone suggested i get a slow blow fuse next time.

My Panasonic HDTV 1080I just died- no power! The model number is CT-36HL43G.

I would suggest to try a different power outlet.
I could also have a blown fuse inside. the fuses can blow due to the following conditions:
Power outage, shorted hardware condition inside your TV.

check The B+ of your tv. If no b+ Check the input AC voltage. If Ac i/p are ok but no B+ Volt maybe your IC in power supply has problem.

Panasonic HDTV /no power

the loss of power was do to a blown fuse. could not access it through the small opening near where the power cord went in at the back of set.. carefully took the back of just far enough to access the fuse and replaced it. Working fine.

I had the same problem, however mine was a 32inch. It is a blown fuse. It is not the power cord. What you need to do is find out what fuse voltage you need. Hope this advice helps. I have a panasonic model CT-32SX12C.

Mine did same thing. Found a fuse blown by the power cord inside case. Replaced it and power came back on.

Main fuse blown on CT-32G11 32" Panasonic TV, Replacement fuses continue to blow.

If the main fuse keeps blowing, check the horizontal output transistor for a shorted condition and diodes in that section as well.

This sight rocks! And so do the people that posted information! Went to Radio Shack and got the 6.3amp 250 volt fuse. Fuse was easy to get to once I removed all of the screws and easily slid off the back. $2.99 fix (foe the fuses)

Your problem is most likely the thermistor , or degausser, is going bad. It is a little black box with pins and says D1R5M on it. It can be found by following the wire from the degaussing coil around the picture tube. The location number is CF803( i think)the Panasonic partnumber is D4DF1R50001. Also, I believe your fuse is 6.3A not 3.6A.
