The freezer works fine. The refrigerator compartment temp constantly goes below freezing, thus freezing all the food.

Make sure the thermister is attached firmly to the fins in the back. The boards on a Norcold can be reset a service center familiar with this process is your best bet. It takes disconecting the board and then shorting it out best to leave it to some one who is familiar.

Move your thermistor closer to the center. Your thermistor is attached to the fins on the inside of the fridge. Also turn off the fridge and take the circuit board cover off and make sure that the thermistor cable is plugged in. the cable is a 2 wire terminal will be on upper right or upper left of the circuit board just below the 6 pin connector. There is another possibility but remote. The cooling unit may be getting ready to stop working. Have had many customers tell me that the fridge started freezing up and a few days later quit working completely.
Hope this helps you.
cooling unit is bad my friend there is a temporary fix but in my opinion not worth your time take the unit out and flip the refer upside down this sometimes dislodges the blockage in the cooling unit all a rv fridge is is amonia and salt if not used all the time the salt crystalizes in the orfice and blocks the unit a rebult cooling unit 550 about and labor 4 hours at your dealers rate a new fridge about 1500 installed
my shop 360 for labor 550 about for unit 910
I ALLWAYS RECOMEND REPLACING THE FRIDE COMPLETLTY

If the refrigerator is 38 degrees and the freezer 18 degrees , both are not normal.
Have you used any hard and pointed object to remove any frozen food or Ice before this happen?
Have you notice any oily part coming out in the freezer or at the back of the refigerator which will indicate that there was a leak?
there are few factors that may cause your refrigerator to be like that:
1. A possible leak along with the tubing that will cause to loose the refrigerant which make the refrigerator to produce ice.
2. lost Compression (Motor compressor) this happen eventually specially the refrigerator is more than 10 years old
the best way to find out is to call a technician and have them check it

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper)
between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it.
Make sure this fan is running. You may have to hold the door switch in for it
to run. There is a flap you adjust with
the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust
the fridge temp.
The problem could be the electronic control if
you have one or the mechanical linkages.
If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer
are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of
cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.
