Your symptoms sound like an intermittent solder connection in the top and bottom pin cushion circuits.

This can be a very simple repair, but, finding the solder connections can be very difficult to see. I recommend that you contact a local servicer and see if you can get a quote over the phone and see how much is may cost.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

"Hello, I have the ambition 1.5, absolutely love it. To switch the font to normal stitching you have to delete or save the sequence. To delete it just tap the little garbage photo and to save tap the heart. With that done you then go back to your stitching tab select a stitch and tap the little garbage bin to erase sequencing and go back to normal stitching."

The right side of our screen keeps going dark, almost black. Once I tapped the side of the tv and it popped back to normal. Sometimes it goes back to normal by itself. It is black most of the time though....

Yes usually fixable unless its the panel goning bad. What if you squeze the panel where the black bar is does that effect it. If so the cabinet is probably bowed. Hope this helps.

Have a p61927 rca 61" big screen - chassis ptk195m2 - picture bows in at top/bottom, color overlaps- thought it was stk730-130 on convergence board but don't see it, is it located on the back of board ?...

I believe that is on the back of the convergence board. What makes you suspect that particular switching regulator out of curiosity? It may very well be, but just wondering how you pinpointed it to that.

Thanks
Tim

This is a convergence problem. It happens to all big screen rear projectors. The convergence output ic's need to be replaced. I would let a repair man do this.
