Question about GE JVM1750SMSS Microwave Oven
The manual shows 2 grille screws that need to be removed from the front grill in order to take the front cover off and to install the charcoal filter. I am not sure how this is suppose to be done & and/or what tool should be used. It appears that the grille itself blocks easy access to these screws. Any info would be appreciated.
I just installed a JVM 1540 with the same grille. I removed the two top phillips screws before mounting the oven as I cannot access these screw heads once the oven is installed. It took me about 20 minutes of fiddling with the grille to figure out (no thanks to the manual) that the grille needs to slide to the left to release so you can change the light bulb/charcoal filter.

For the front grill on the JVM1750SMSS GE microwave oven there are two phillip head screws on top of the grill that have to be removed. The grill then slides to the left about a quarter of an inch and can then be pulled straight out.
