Adding DVD player

-   hey **w, i have basicly the same problem as some one stated them selves, they cant gain access to the audio - vidieo input from a universal remote. i tryed working every angle that i k**w, to get in to the audio-vidieo setting, but **thing... programed the remote 4 different ways, only because the universal remote manual said (if the romote dose **t allowe you to use certain keys try programing it a different way) after getting it programed each and every different way, tryed to see if it would pick up on game system signal by hitting the input button, and **thing? tryed going throught the menue, checking to see if i had the option to select that spacific setting, it was **t there? (menue?...**pe didnt work..? each way ** succsess? even went as far as programing the tv to only pick up and allow access to every and any channel that had a signal unsing the menue again? (made sure that the cable was connected to the cable input and the system i have_ was on, running and hooked up in to the audio-vidieo input before programing the tv channal search. still didnt pick up on the signal. totaly convince you need the origanal remote. try other stuff too but ** go...-   christopherD

-   I hooked up the dvd player but cannot get it to work on my tv? I used the red ,white and yellow wire but can only connect the white and yellow wire to the front of the tv?-   tagtom

-   I can get the audio portion of the DVD to function but I cannot get a picture. Any suggestions? Do I need to tune to a channel before switching to AV1 or AV2? Thanks, in advance for your help.-   KarenG

-   I can get the sound to play when the TV and DVD are connected but I get no picture on AV1 or AV2. How do I get the TV to accept video input from the DVD?

Also, I do not have the owners manual. Is there somewhere on line where I can download a copy? The Samsung site does not recognize the model number!-   KarenG
