First of all - it is not a router related problem
When you install SP3, it adds a new service for your Ethernet and Internet connections, and often, if the driver is not up-to-date, it is not fully compatible with SP3.

The first step should be a driver update for your network card(s).
If you need help with that, let me know the make and model of your network card and we take it from there.

If that doesn't solve the problem, try the following steps.

  1. Go to Start>Run and type "services.msc" Click OK.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and you will see an entry called "Wired AutoConfig".This is a new feature with SP3 and needs to be enabled.
  3. Right-Click on it and go to Properties.
  4. There will be a Drop-down box where probably "Manual" is selected. This has to be changed to "Automatic".
  5. You start the service by clicking "Start".
  6. Close the window by clicking "OK".
If you have any more questions or this did not solve your problem, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.

Hi,

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Your best bet is to try a system restore to a point before you installed the bad driver.

Click on START, PROGRAMS, ACCESSORES, SYSTEM TOOLS, System Restore. Then select Restore My Computer to an earlier time. Hopefully you will have a restore point dated just before you installed the driver. Restore to that point and see if it fixes the problem.

Air GCFG.exe & WZCSLDR2.exe

A part of a D-Link Driver.
do you have any wireless dlink device??
it looks like the driver for your device may need to be updated or reinstalled. find the model of your dlink device and go in to the dlink website and look for the latest driver for your device and your operating system.

post back if you need further assistance!!

Entry point apsSearchInterface wzcsldr2.exe apsintialze keep coming up after starting computer

This appears to be an issue with XP's SP3 where a file was unknowingly named the same as a DLink driver file causing this error.
Here is a link to the Hotfix for this issue: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950720
That should fix the 'entry point apsSearchInterface' problem.

as for that wzcsldr2.exe issue:

1) go to Start>Run and type "services.msc" And Click OK.
2) You will want to scroll to the bottom and You'll notice "Wired AutoConfig", This feature needs to be enabled so Right+Click and Go to Properties.
3) Drop-down box needs to be changed to Automatic. Then Click OK.
4) Right+Click on "Wired AutoConfig" Again and Choose, "Start" Since the service hasn't officially been started we need to start it.
5) Reboot the computer just to make sure the change takes place.

May 12th, 2008: Some customers reported problems installing Studio Plus version 11 UPGRADE (11.0) or Studio version 11 Standard (11.0) on systems with Windows XP Service Pack 3 was already installed (a message asking for Windows XP Service Pack 2 is displayed). Pinnacle is investigating this problem.
We can offer you the following workaround:
  • Copy all the content of the Installation DVD of Studio version 11 to your hard disk in a new folder.
  • Download http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/Studio11/WelcomeSP3.exe
  • Copy the file WelcomeSP3.exe to the root of the directory where the Installation DVD was copy
  • Double-click on WelcomeSP3.exe to launch it. It will take few seconds and then the Studio version 11 installation will start.
