Won't turn on anymore and there is a red blinking light just under the standby/on button
My RTB1100 won't turn on with the remote or at the standby/on button. There is a red blinking light and I can't find any information on what that means. What is the problem? How do I get it to turn on now? Thank you!

Blinking of power LED are fault indications. Count the number of blinks occur at one time switch on. For this number, you can get an idea about the faulty section circuit inside it. It will make troubleshooting much narrower. If you wish to get more details about the blinking codes, check this link. Pull up older posts there.
Look at the owner manual as the 10 blinks is a error code or Google the model number to locate that information--Sony error codes are general and often misleading.
I would if looking at the set inspect the lamp first.
sounds like bad capacitors on the power board. Very common problem. I would look at the caps if any appear even slightly rounded on top they are bad. They should be perfectly flat on top any puffing up means replace that cap.
Before going OFF, the standby LED might blink. These blinks are fault indication. The number of blink should be counted. Count the number of blinks at one time, before the TV goes OFF. [eg: 4 blinks Power SOS P Board; 6 blinks Driver SOS 1 SU / SD / SC Boards
(SC energy recovery circuit)] and so on. you can get more details from this site named 'Electro-help'. You can reach it by searching the keyword "electronicshelponline" by internet.
if you have power problem without blinking lights or standby lights (red) the possible problem is power supply board..However if the TV have blinking or standby light but won't turn ON..there are multiple cause of that and need further troubleshooting..
I also have an LG TV. I used this 4 digit code: 0742. TO PROGRAM THE remote USING THE 4 DIGIT CODE:
1. Turn your TV on.
2. Press tv on your Sky remote control.
3. Hold down select and the red button together for about two seconds, until the red light on the Sky remote control blinks twice.
4. Press tv on your Sky remote control again.
5. Key in the four digit code for your brand of TV. The light on the Sky remote control blinks twice. If the light blinks once only, recheck the code for your brand of TV and start again at Step 1.
6. Press the standby button on your Sky remote control. If your TV switches off, press select. The light on the Sky remote control blinks twice (code stored). If your TV does not switch off, press tv, then press the standby button. Repeat this (press tv, then standby) until your TV turns off, then press select (stores code).
The Sky+ remote should automatically default to Sony TV's. Leave the batteries out for a few minutes and try again. The Code for Sony is 0000.
Or try this :-
With TV and sky box on.
Press the 'TV' button on the remote.
Hold down the 'select' and the 'red' button (of the four coloured buttons) together, until the red light on the remote blinks twice. (takes 2 seconds)
Press the 'TV' button again.
Now enter four zeros, the red light on the remote should blink twice.
Press the 'standby' button (top right).
If the TV turns off, then press 'select' and the light should blink twice again, job done.
If the TV does not turn off then press 'TV' followed by 'standby' again.
Alternate pressing 'TV' 'Standby' until the TV turns off.
When it does, finish by pressing 'Select.
Check the red light on the remote, if it blinks 3 times, then it has run out of options for 0000.
3. Hold down select and the red button together for about two
seconds, until the red light on the Skyremote control blinks twice.
4. Press tv on your Skyremote control again.
5. Key in the four digit code for your brand of TV. The light on the Skyremote
control blinks twice. If the light blinks once only, recheck the code for your
brand of TV and start again at Step 1.
6. Press the standby button on your Skyremote control. If your TV
switches off, press select. The light on the Skyremote control blinks
twice (code stored). If your TV does not switch off, press tv, then
press the standby button. Repeat this (press tv, then standby)
until your TV turns off, then press select (stores code).
If at this point the LED on the Skyremote control blinks three times then all
possible codes for that make of receiver have been checked. Repeat from step
one, ensuring that you enter the correct manufacturer code.
At the end of the sequence, if you see the TV Guide screen, the remote control
setup process is complete. If you did not see the TV Guide screen, you must now
complete the following steps.
