it has an internal damage..you cant see it externally for the damage is located at the inside...for the fact that the model of your phone is LG enV Touch VX11000 Cell Phone..you can bring that to the technician.
Your phone is charging just fine. It's the battery that is to blame.
Purchase a new battery from your choice of local vendors and the problem will be solved.
Also, try not to charge it (With the new battery) until the charge is low. This will help prolong battery life.
try taking your battery out thats what i have to do with my phone, i believe its because the fact that its gettign shut tooo fast and the screen doesnt have the change to respond.
Frozen phones are best fixed by the professionals at your servide provider repair depot --- probably just around the corner from where you are located (relitively speaking)

Wat you need to do is open the back cover and take out the battery for at least 3 hours and if it still doesnt work send your phone alot of messages so it will exit out because it will be receiving another message
Check your firmware version. Settings and Tools > Phone Info > SW/HW Version and check the SW Version.
The resetting itself problem appears to be an issue with VX11KV04. The previous version doesn't have those problems (I have the issues, but my fiance doesn't with his. His phone is on version 3, mine is on 4. A bit of searching on the verizon forums confirms that others are having the same issues with this firmware version.
