I have a Sony KV-32hv600 and the video and audio are inoperative. The red stand-by light blinks 6 times. I am assuming the blinking red stand by light is indicating some type of service code. Does anyone know what type of service problem the 6 blinks indicate?

My book says the same thing, but I did find a site that listed what the blinking codes mean.
# Six blinks - No Horizontal (H STOP), no raster, goes to the blinking self-diagnosis function immediately. Check C515 & 516 and the jungle IC, IC206.
BTW, I left the TV unplugged overnight and it worked fine when I plugged it in later today. I just tried to turn it on again and the screen is black and the 6 red blinks have returned.
I have the same problem....even came back on after a while, but now just the 6 blinks on standby. Has anyone fixed this problem. Thanks.
