You just cleck your computer if hte driver is installed, you just right click the my computer, the properties, the click the hardware, then click the device manager, so if you can see a big yellow question mark, it means you driver is not installed, that why the sound is not functioning,

Try to install or update drivers for your sound device. Go to My Computer, then right click, select Properties, click it, go to Device Manager, select speaker icon with sound, video and game controllers, then look if the drivers are installed, if not installed, try to install using your cd installer or you can update the drivers via online. If the drivers are installed, look at the screen, look at the speaker icon located the right bottommost portion, click the speaker, see to it that it is adjusted well and not in mute mode. I just hope that these infos help u. Thanks.

No sound device

It's clear that you haven't installed Sound Driver for your sound card. If you have the motherboard installer Cd, put it in the Cd tray and install or else you can't do that, download the driver from the web and install it. I can't direct you to the link since the said sound card is not available, I would be better to help you if you let me know the Motherboard name, model and brand. Or if your sound card is not onboard, means you installed it on the Pci slot, then you must install the driver using the Cd that comes with the Hardware. Good luck,

Check the conditions of your sound cards including all sound cards (motherboard sound cards, external and internal sound cards).
Also check your setting in" sound effect manager" option in control pannel, and make required settings.
Also go through "equilizer"option available there in "sound and effect manager " for desired settings.

Sound driver installation problem

HAVE YOU UN-INSTALLED THE PREVIOUS SOUND DRIVER BEFORE YOU TRYING TO INSTALL THIS ONE? IF NOT, AND YOU ALREADY HAVE A SOUND DRIVER INSTALLED, YOU WILL HAVE TO UN-INSTALL IT OR DISABLE IT UNTIL YOU GET THE NEW ONE INSTALLED. THEN SET THE NEW DRIVER AS YOUR DEFAULT DRIVER ONCE INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE.

I am not hearing any sound at all though i have increased every volume buttom

You check your system information if sound driver was installed, type dxdiag in your run command. Wait till a tool bar about your system info will appear then check your sound driver if installed. If it was not installed. you have to install a sound driver. Look at your sound card installed and download from internet any necessary sound card driver compatible to your sound card hardware and mother board. Just try this,. I have solved many computers by following this procedure.
