SOURCE: No pressure in the pressure washer

Leaving the hose on shouldn't cause a problem so don't panic. It sounds like you could just have a dirty nozzle. Try sticking a pin or something in the end of the nozzle (machine not running) and giving it a clear out. also if it is a two peice gun, split it and tap the squirting part on something clean like a workbench to clear any debris that might have got in there.

Hello, check the hose connection on the pump. There is generally a screen there to prevent dirt from entering the pump. Clean off this screen and all should be well.

Why won't my pressure washer pump?

If its turning and you have no water or pressure is there a hose with a valve
a water seal that are connected the wrong way around ?
if not , the intake basketfilter on water drain hose.

if there is water and all iss clean and the motor runs no water then there is lime inside the valves fixed Liming most times its not running for a long time and has possible standing quite a long time been under a warm temperature in cellar if thats also not the answer then there should be a bypass connection thats not working because of lime thats actuates a microswitch (modern pressure washers an auto-stop for the motor if there is water demand only then the motor runs and by old pressure wachersthe bypass is only to have a microcirculation without stopping the motor to run but works by demand , most times there is a cuff-kit necessary but be aware it could be a bit expensive for budget models pressure washers that its relating not worth a repair . if a new pressure washer is cheep. it depends on the user and his priority on which he used the machine.

HE3t has an FH error code checked the following and are OK. pressure switch, flow meter, and inlet valves water flows in without restriction. What else could it be? Craig

Hi,

Thank you for contacting fixya.com.

FH error code means low water inflow. In this error washer is not filling when the fill valve opens.
To clear the error please follow the bellow instructions:-
Press the "Stop" button twice with your finger. This cancels the cycle and stops the washer. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.Turn the water shut off valves clockwise to stop the water flow to the washer through the supply hoses. Pull the washer away from the wall enough that you can access the hose connections at the back of the washer.

Set a bucket under the area of the hose connections. Unscrew the hose connections from the back of the washer. If necessary, use a pair of slip joint pliers to help start the connections turning until you can turn them by hand. Set the ends of the hoses inside the bucket.Inspect the screens on the inlet ports on the back of the washer where the hoses connect. Sediment and other debris can block these screens, causing fill problems. Clean the screen with an old toothbrush.

Thread the hoses back onto the washer. Look for kinks in the hoses. Kinks cut off water supply to the washer which causes the FH error code. Once you connect the hoses, turn the water supply valves counter-clockwise to supply water to the washer. Move the bucket away from the washer and push the washer back into its working position.Plug the power cord back into the outlet and start the wash cycle again. If the FH error code comes up again, call a service repairman. If the hoses have no kinks and the inlet screens are clean, there is a problem with either the pressure switch or the flow meter.

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

When using the sweep nozzle (yellow tip), the pressure starts and stops but the machine works fine when using the circluar nozzle(red)

usually when the power washer pressure stops the machine is running out of water. the sweep function uses a little more water than the round wash tip. Make sure there are no leaks in the supply hose and that the supply faucet is turned on all the way and has plenty of "flow". also make sure the water connection at the washer is not leaking. use a new rubber washer to make a good seal on the supply hose on both ends. if either end leaks or can **** air, just a little bit of air into the pressure washer will cause it to loose pressure.

Washer has low pressure. but can see pressure build up in hose. then when squeez triger motor stops.

Hello, W/D here.

Sounds like it may be air locked. Connect the hose to the washer. Connect the wand and hose to the washer. Open the supply water, and hold down the trigger on the spray wand. Be patient, this can take several minutes.
Now crank the washer.
Best regards, --W/D--

Kenmore 70 series washer model 82870120 will not stop filling

you need to replace the water valve. This is a common problem and a very easy fix. You can order the part at sears.com via model number and also see a breakdown of the machine and how to put it in.

Water keeps flowing non-stop with my old Kenmore washer

Check the pressure switch and the pressure switch hose.
Remove the end caps on the console and remove the 2 screws that hold it down. Pull slightly from the bottom of the console and flip it up. On the left side you should see the pressure switch (water level switch) with a few wires and a small hose connected to it. The hose should be connected between the pressure switch and the tub. In most cases the pressure switch hose sometimes falls off over time due to vibration.
Replace the hose if it is damaged. If there are no visible holes or cracks in the hose, try trimming 1/4" off each end of the hose (pressure switch side and tub side) and reconnect them making sure to push hose ends securely onto connections. This is done because the hose sometimes stretches at the connection points and you will lose air pressure inside the switch, therefore the water will never shut off.
Alternatively you can use small clamps on each end.
If this doesn't work, check the function of the pressure switch by attaching a small hose to it and blowing lightly into the pressure switch while the machine is filling. You should hear a click and the inlet water valve should turn off. If it doesn't turn off you may need to replace the pressure switch or if the machine fills even when it's in the off position replace the inlet water valve.
Good luck!

not always the pressure switch itself.
years since i saw one of these machines so just take this as guidence.
remove back panel and pressure switch is i remember on rhs near top - it has a small diameter hose going to it. remove this hose and substitute another hose of the same diameter. put on fill and pressurise the hose by mouth. you should hear a click and the water will stop. this localises the fault. if the water does stop, then the fault is:
split in the small diameter hose.
blockage in the small diameter hose.
blockage in the air chamber - the part the other end of the small hose is connected to

fault is more often one of these three rather than the pressure switch itself
