have you tried Function F7/F8 ?
Make sure that your display driver is installed correctly.
I had the same Laptop as you did and was able to have dual monitor.
Also check your Display driver in your control panel and make sure it set to dual monitor.

SOURCE: Laptop to TV connection problem
When your laptop boots up, Windows treats the second monitor (your TV) as a mirror of the primary monitor (your laptop screen). When Windows loads up and finishes initializing the more advanced features, it goes back to it's default setting of a single primary screen, and the secondary screen is in standby, waiting for you to do something with it. The fastest way to get the TV working would be to find the Function key on your keyboard (normally a purple-ish blue key labeled Fn) and the monitor switch key. The video switch key is normally in the Function key row (F1, F2, F3, etc...) and has the picture of a rectangle or TV-looking shape. Hold the Fn key down and then press the video-switch key once and see what happens. Lenovo laptops normally bring up a little on-screen program that allows you to pick which configuration you want. Good luck!

Depends on what connections are on your laptop and tv check them both. If you have a HDMI port on both you can use that. If not most recent TV's have a VGA port which you can use using a standard vga cable if not they will have a DVI or S-Video port and you will need one of those cables which are all availble from any computer shop. But check which one you need first

Hi, not sure but I take it you are using two screens. It sounds like an imput problem, either cable or a graphics. Try changing your cables over and see if the problem persists?
