I have seen these printers pick up on a tiny piece of paper stuck in a place almost impossible to see. Carefully look at the entire pape path and you will probably find a tiny scrap of paper stuck in a blind spot.
It aso can be one of the paper path limit switches has become jammed and need to be re-aligned. That is much harder to do, and honestly, you can buy several new printers for the cost of that repair.
Leading
cause of paper jams is debris/foreign objects that accidentally fell into the
paper feed area. Please follow steps below to fix the problem:
1. Remove
the sheets of paper from the feeder.
2. Grab a
flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
3. If
you're willing and physically able, you may also turn the printer over. Any
debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.
4. If
feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table, open the printer cover
and remove the cartridges.
5. Check
the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris in the cartridge carrier's path
or the paper path.
6. If
cartridge area is clear, close the cover.
7. Rebrick
(pull out power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the
back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds).
8. When the
printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print
again.
