Emptied drain and still flashing
SOURCE: Inlet/Drain light keeps flashing
Kenyanjoe, I have had the same problem with a G638 . the inlet/drain light flashed 30 sec after start up, (the machine must empty on start up, this did not happen), This caused it to lock out on alarm I removed the drain hose from the S trap, removed the non return valve from the filter, check the drain pump impellar is free, then blow down the drain hose back into the dishwasher to make sure it was not blocked then found the drain pipe on the S trap under the sink was restricted causing the machine not to empty in time for the cycle to continue causing it to lockout on inlet/drain alarm. Have a go , good luck. GUNNO
SOURCE: powder not dissolving drain/inlet light sometimes flashes
I would guess the detergent door is open and the powder comes out so, If water is going in then the pump is not pumping.
Listen for the water to fill then after it stops open the door to make sure it's full of water. If no water or not enough then replace the water valve. If you have water then the pump is not pumping.
SOURCE: water fills washer, program stops, inlet/drain
Could it be.Try to open and look the fuse inside.Opps try to see the warranty of applian.
SOURCE: dishwasher stops after 10 minutes inlet/drain light flashing
I had the same problem on a 5 year old model. It was the main pump leaking from a perished seal causing the water protection microswitch to trip. This gives the symptoms you describe exactly. Parts cost from Miele was about £60 for a new seal. Fairly easy to fit.
