Question about Boating
I would definitely go for the fiberglass canoe. That sounds like a great deal especially since you get all those accessories . Aluminum canoes can be very heavy.

The fiberglass will be fine for lakes,if you use it in rivers with rocks and ledges the Grumman will take more of a beating.I had a 15' Grumman for 30 yrs The fiberglass will also be alot heavier for car topping etc. a weld shop can fix any crack you may put into the aluminium canoe

Hi. You will enjoy the 375 dollar fiberglass canoe, especially with all the accessaries! I don't think you could find a better price that would fulfill all your requirements. Fiberglass is easy to repair if damaged. All other surfaces are not and can become unrepairable! Fiberglass is also low maintainance but I would recommend storing it out of the sunlight. When you go for the purchase ask the previous owner if he would mind if you fill it up with water? This is one way of checking the integrity of the hull. My canoe has three seats. If you canoe has no seats sit on your lifejackets and it helps keep any supplies or you bum drier. Have fun! I'm getting ready to write some stories about my latest canoe trip.
