Question about HP PSC 1315 All-In-One InkJet Printer
How can I cancel pending printing with my HP DeskjetD1455? It is connected to a Dell 531S w/Vista. My printer was not working and I tried to print on several sites. Nothing happened. I switched the printer off and on and now it is printing things I do not want and I do not know how to cancel the pending printing.
You need to go to 'Printers' in Windows, and click on the document in the window to highlight it. Then one of the menu items gives you the option of deleting it.
Turning the machine off does not stop it because the print is held in Windows until the printer says 'thanks, done that', and if Windows senses that the print sequence has failed it simply tries again - and this happens, of course, when you turn the printer off and on again. Werry irritating.
