How do eye masks work?

When your brain senses pure darkness, it causes the production of melatonin, the chemical of sleep. To help induce this state, you can also use earplugs. When you block out both noise and light, your chances of falling asleep are improved. People who sleep regularly during the day, such as nurses or other shift workers can benefit greatly by using them.

If it is night time at my destination, should I sleep on the plane?

If it night time at your destination I recommend you to try and get some sleep on the way, on the plane, in order to avoid any symptoms of Jet lag. Earplugs, headphones and eye-masks can help you block out noise and light making it easier to fall asleep.

Right earplug is shorted out. sound goes in and out. how do i fix it?

The right ear plug internal wire is cut off due to wear and tear. This is common problem with earplug especially if
if you pull by the wire of your earplugs. The solution is to
cut open the wirings of your right earplug and reconnect,
resolder it, and tape the bare wires, to restore the sound. However, it will be unsighty. So, the best thing
to do is to buy another.

Wheels keep falling off

Yes. Using a drill press if possible, drill a 1/8" hole across the axle, install a washer on the axle after the wheel and insert a cotter pin through the new hole.

PTT earplug problem

Hi, normally plugging in the earplug should cutoff the handset's speaker. If it does not cutoff it may be that the internal cutoff switch inside the radio is defective or slightly mis-aligned. This is a mechanical switch and could be adjusted by any competent technician. This might void your warranty (if still covered). Hope this works for you. Regards
