I did exactly as you suggested. Neither worked. I unplugged it again. When I plug it in, the door is still locked. When i try to restart the wash, I get the dl,f reading. I also hear what sounds like a stuck electrical relay cycling towards the rear of the machine. Any suggestions?

Locate the DRIN/SPIN button on the front panel. Press on hold for 3 seconds. This button is used to lock/unlock the front panel as a safety feature preventing small children from manipulating the controls. The instructions are printed on the front panel. If this does not work, unplug the unit for at least 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). If you still need assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

"Fdl" is a door latch error. The washer will attempt to lock several times
at the beginning of the cycle. If the latch fails to lock, the washer will shut
down and display the "Fdl" error code.

Commonly, this is an indication of a broken door latch. However, in some
case, this can mean a failed CCU which controls the latch. You can start by
doing a visual check of the latch followed by ensuring all the connectors are
plugged in and snug on the latch and at the point where they plug in to the
CCU. Try unplugging each connector at the CCU and at the door latch (one at a
time) and reseat them. This sometimes helps clear momentary problems. You can
access everything by removing the top panel of the washer. Remove the panel by
loosening the three screws that hold the panel in place in the rear of the
washer. With the screws removed, the panel will slide back,, then lift off.
The door latch is located behind the front panel. Follow the wires from the
latch to the CCU, which is located directly behind the drum. For additional
troubleshooting information, there is a tech sheet inside the washer behind the
lower panel under the door. If not affixed to the panel door, it will be
located along one of the interior cabinet walls.

If you determine the latch to be bad, the following link explains how to
    replace:

Unlock control stick for jazzy select power chair.

Gerald,
Well there are a couple ways, One is push the start button within 10 sec. push the horn button twice. This should do it, but if it is a different Joystick then try, push the button to start then hold the Joystick forward until it beeps, then hold the joystick knob back until it beeps and then it should be unlocked.

All controller lights are flashing

If they are flashing one after the other you maybe locked out. turn on then push the horn button twice to unlock, or turn on the joystick and hold the lever forward until you hear a beep, then all the way back until you hear a beep then the joystick should be unlocked. Check freewheel lever in drive position. unplug charger.

F-28 flashing. Door will not open

While the machine is on press "end of cycle" for 3 seconds, then wait for 2 minutes to try the door. Try this again if it does not open, this is the child lock program - to lock and unlock; it is the same procedure.

Check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly screwed. You can also plug off for half an hour to reset.

Kenmore HE3 stuck in delay cycle and won't unlock or cancel

YOu more than likely have suds in your washer, or an extremely unbalanced load. push the pause cancel button twice, that should unlock the washer. open the washer, and look inside. Is there a lot of suds, or towels that are tangled up? If so, add some fabric softener to the wash tub and do a rinse drain spin (for suds) for the extremely unbalanced load, take the towels (or what ever load you are doing) and put about 1/2 of them in. I have the same washer and have experienced this "problem" once or twice in 7 years. And those were the two culprits. Hope that helps

Unable to cancel cycle and restart machine

Instead of hitting cancel twice, only press once,. You should hear the washer unlock. Then try to start again. If that doesn't work, try unplugging the washer in mid cycle. Are you getting and codes popping up?

How to unlock the scanner

Remove both cartridges from the printer.
Move the red lock switch (at the back of the printer) from the down position to the up position, and then move it back to the down position.
Unplug the printer and turn it onto its left side.
Then return the printer to the upright position and reapply the power supply.
Attempt this fix twice and then try to print and scan once more.
