Yes your nailer will drive other sizes of nails. For info and parts go to www.bostitch.com and look for the support tab then select service parts. Here you will find parts list and manual. To remove the tva11 trigger valve remove the retainer pin (the pin is 3mm) for the trigger and remove trigger. Next remove roll pin/pins that retain trigger valve. Use heavy glove to catch trigger valve as you apply air pressure to gun. The valve could pop out with great force so try lowering the pressure to gun. Before installing the new valve, check the opening for sharp edges which will cut orings. Good Luck and email if you have more questions.

You can repair this gun. Parts and breakdown are at www.bostitch.com look for service /parts and enter your model number. There you will the parts available for purchase. You will need the tva11 trigger valve. Easy to install. Remove roll pins that hold trigger and trigger valve. Remove the trigger to expose the tva11 valve. With the roll pin/s removed that hold the trigger valve you will be connecting air supply. Use heavy glove to catch valve as you apply air pressure. You may reduce pressure to airline to reduce pop-out force. Before you install the new valve check port for sharp edges and debris. Good luck with your repair.

Not sure exactly what Bostitch framer model you have, but if it is powered by compressed air, as long as you remove the air hose from the nail gun, there should be no risk of the nail gun firing while you remove the jammed nail. There should be a way to access the driver area from the top of the nail gun, even via a latch or a couple screws. Remove the top part of the driver area and that should give you access to the jammed nail, which you can remove. Use long nose pliers or something similar if the nails are really stuck.

Go to the Stanley Bostitch website. Click on schematics & parts. Find your model number in the drop down list. There is a list of parts and pricing. Just above the parts is a link for the schematic. Honestly, I worked on these things for years. It is best to replace the entire trigger valve. It comes as a kit with instructions grease, and a little tool to hammer your pins out. If the air is coming out the trigger it must be replaced. Depending on the model of gun you will have to replace the trigger assembly or various o-Rings. Find a Bostitch dealer in your area and they will supply the parts you require.
