I have a Nikon Coolpix L1 and have had a red box with a white circle with three white lines going in different directions appear constantly since I changed from the rechargeable batteries. What is this symbol?

Is the icon on the low-right of the screen? It looks like you didn’t set the Date and Time.
Try to set Date and Time on Set upàDate.
