Question about Heartland Kitchen Ranges

Open Question

My Legacy oven fan will not turn off.  I don't know if there is a way to manually turn it off.  In the past it has come on and turned itself off automatically, but it has now been running for a couple of days while the oven is off and cool.

I am a recently retired appliance engineer of 20 years sounds like pure coincidence, check the fan for circuit at terminals, and / or check for movement of blades, that you have not got fan jammed, replace fan motor unit if needed, still cheaper than a call out if i have helped rate me work with safety all the time, unplug at all times when working on any item

Help - Knob positions on New World Debut single oven

Don't know how long ago you posted this but I have the same issues! The left hand dial deals with function and the fan oven setting is 2nd one. The grill setting is the furthest one round...I think. The right hand dial is temperature. 180 is at about half past. 200 is at about 40 mins past if you get my drift. All this I have kind of figured out through trial and error... Now I've just got to figure out how to change the light bulbs....

Neff circo therm need to replace cooling fan

Isolate mains.Remove oven cavity back panel (4/6 phillips or 4/6 Torx 20 screws)Remove fan blade (reverse thread nut)....this is sometimes where you come unstuck, because the blade just won't budge. If that happens I normally then remove the back panel of the unit itself (doesn't need to come all the way off, I will usually leave the mains connections on and let it fall back as far as it will go safely...may have to loosen the cable clamp to get some slack on the mains)You will now see the other side if the fan motor.Remove the L and N (not pole sensitive so they can go on the new one either way).Remove the 3 Torx20 screws holding the fan in position. (some models have an extra spacer ring so be careful you don't lose them)Go back to the cavity and use something to give the motor shaft a whack to release the fan blade, bearing in mind that if it does budge the motor itself is going to fall out the back (stick an old towel etc to cushion the fall and protect the terminal block etc). The new fan usually comes with the blade attached, separate the parts, install the motor, attached electrical connection and then the fan blade, make sure its tight. At this point I would close up the back and just hold in place with one screw and test that the fan works. (don't forget that the oven will not operate when the clock is flashing, so set any time on the clock before selecting circotherm)If everything looks ok, get it back together and in housing and run upto 150 or 200 degrees as a last test.Good luck, let me know how you get on or if you need any further clarification. Please post the outcome as this will assist other users of the site looking for solutions to similar problems. All the Best.

Oven displays "Supply Open Neutral" What does

I got this problem on my GE Trivection oven after a 2 minute blackout. "Supply Open Neutral" showed up and no other buttons worked. I shut off the breaker to the oven from outside and it still didn't work. I then turned the breaker off of the other appliances in the kitchen and turned the Trivection oven breaker on first and then it worked. I don't know if it was the order or whether I just turned it off for a longer period of time, but the oven started working normal again.

GE microwave fan not turning off

hello,

what this means is that your oven has develop a partial contact from the wire which supply power to the fan of your oven

what you need to do to fix up your oven is to unscrew the oven then trace the wire down to the fan you will see two wire red and black or white either of this wire is touching the body of the oven this while the fan come up it self then make sure that all wire are well place on there position

thank you and good lock .

Turn off the timer on an old imperial st george

I have this exact same oven and this "feature" annoys me no end. To turn it off ... turn the clock dial to PAST the time that the timer dial shows. EG: If your timer dial is showing 6, turn the clock dial so that it rolls past 6 o'clock. This will pop out the timer dial and thus turn off the timer, allowing you to use the oven normally.

To stop accidentally pushing/turning that timer dial, I removed the knobs. Good luck.

Microwave will turn on by itself and display PAN on screen.

Does everything come on by itself or is it just a fan that comes on? If so, is it a convection oven?

My dacor oven model ECS130SBK is very slow to heat. Sometimes reaching the desired temp. after a long wait. Sometimes it never gets there.

I found the bottom element was not getting any power by using a volt/ohmmeter and a test method described elsewhere. (Shut off power, hold down COOK TIME while turning on power. then within 30 seconds press each mode you want to test and only that element/fan/etc will turn on. Cancels by itself after 30 sec.)

I traced the wire back to the relay (wire checked good) and there was no power getting through the relay although it clicked. Removed the relay board to replace it and found a cold solder joint on the "out" terminal with obvious past arcing carbon. Cleaned and soldered the pin and the oven now works normally.
WHY THE SLOW TO HEAT? The oven turns on all the elements to preheat faster and when it reaches your set temp it beeps and now only turns on the element you selected to maintain the temperature. (Bake or Convection) Our malfunctioning ovens would then cool since the element is not working properly and it must go back into preheat and keep cycling.
BY THE WAY- Don't ever use 4 hours on self clean it kills the boards and/or display. I also put a house fan in front of the oven and blow it into the lower grill to take away some of the heat on the two boards. Learned the hard way!

95 Subaru Legacy won't start/radiator fan stays on

It's one of three things:  air, spark, or fuel.

It's most likely not air.  So I'll rule that one out.

That leaves fuel or spark.  I'd remove a spark plug wire from the coil and set a screwdriver nearby.  It it arcs, then you know you have spark.  There's a good chance you may need to replace something in your ignition system.

However, seeing as how quickly it just "died," I might also suggest the fuel pump.
