Question about Nikon ProStaff Laser 440 Rangefinder
Two year old laser 440 began having problems last year reading past 70 yards. Problem has become progressively worse and will now not read yardage past 30 yards. Have replaced battery and reset the unit by holding down both buttons for 30 seconds, but have had no improvement in function.

you have it on the meters setting not the yards setting. hold the scan button down for three seconds or longer and it will revert to the other form. a meter is nearly 10% longer than a yard.

On my laser 500 G I held both buttons down together for a short time and it began reading again. See if that works with yours.
