Po452 indicates an issue with the nvld valve. it is located above the fuel tank, in order to test this you will need a hand vaccum pump, and and a multimeter if you look at the canister there will be a standard vaccum line and a vent tube wich will be larger, the vent tube needs to be blocked off, and the vaccum pump will need to be hooked up to the vaccum line. Next the meter will need to be inserted into the harness coming from the switch (orange wire).(''t''pins from wal mart sewing department may be helpful here). Keep the harness hooked up key on engine off, when vaccum is applied (about 1 hg on the gauge) the voltage should start at 12 volts and drop to 0 volts if operating correctly ,test it several times, the most common fix is to replace the whole assembly, it includes the charcoal canister, and requires removal of the fuel tank, hope this helps chris.

Check the input shaft and output shaft speed sensors on the transmission. One is likely bad.

P0505: Idle Air Control System

There is a small motor that controls the amount of air the engine gets when you aren't using the throttle. The computer uses this small motor to control your idle. It sounds like it needs to be replaced. You can try cleaning it first with some throttle body & air intake cleaner.

Code p0441 is evap system--incorrect flow detected==causes --hose connections --intake leak--EVAP canister purge valve

What parts do I need for purge flow fault on dodge stratus 2003

If this question is with regards to a fault code of P0441, the following applies.

Basically this means that there is a problem in the EVAP system. The computer will command the purge control valve open and if it does not sense the right amount of vacuum then it will set this code.
The purge valve is part of the EVAP system. The purpose of this system is to take all of the excess fuel vapor from the gas tank and store it until it can be burned in the engine. If it weren't for this system then all of those vapors would be vented into the atmosphere.

Usual causes for this code:
Faulty Purge Control Solenoid
Faulty Purge Control Valve
Damaged Wiring to the Purge Solenoid

Other possible causes:
Faulty Computer
Restriction in the EVAP System
Faulty Vacuum Switch

Po441 on dodge stratus

Evap Emissions Problem. Specifically Purge Flow. Check to make sure your gas cap is on tight. Disconnect negative terminal on battery, drive up to 50 miles, if code comes back. Replace Evap Purge Canister.

I have a 2003 dodge stratus sct and the engine light keeps coming on with a code reader that pops up PO440 and we replaced the spark plugs already, and not sure where to look now? We cleared the code...

most of these codes appear if the driver forgets to put the gas cap back on, or the gas cap seal is bad. double check the vacuum line from the throttle body to the purge solenoid for leaks. The best way is with a smoke machine. There could also be an issue with the purge solenoid or the electrical connection to it.

I have a 2004 dodge stratus 2.4 dual overhead cam. When driving down the road, bell goes off, check engine light comes on, and it's like I'm driving on limp mode, when going over 2000 rpm's, there's a severe stutter. After getting code for light it points to cam shaft sensor, which i changed. I also changed crank shaft sensor. After all of this was done, drove great for about 30 miles and the same thing happened all over again. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.
