Cannot login to wbr-2310 router's config page

I'm trying to access the configuration page of my dlink wbr-2310wireless router. I type in 192.168.0.1 like im supposed to and i typeadmin with the blank password in the username/pw fields like imsupposed to. but all it does when i click login is return me to thesame login page. i have tried resetting the router. no change. i justcan't get the login page. and i know the username/password are correct.the defaults are well documented as being 'admin' with the passwordfield left blank. ive also tried 'admin' and 'password' as the passwords.

im running windows xp.
