SOURCE: needle clamp won't attach to needle bar
There is a set screw above the needle pin screw which tightens with an allen wrench--try that.
SOURCE: Needle holder fell off of machine
there should be an allen screw on the back side of the needle bar clamp push it up and on and make sure its as stright as you can get it and tighten down on the allen screw
SOURCE: needle will not stay in?
Buy a new pack of needles to make sure you do not have defective needles, if that doesnt work get a new thumb screw and if it still doesnt work you need a new needle bar.
SOURCE: The needle on my sewing
when you put the needle in the needle clamp holder the flat side of the needle goes toward the back of the the machine when you tighten the needle clamp screw make sure it's holding the needle,,make sure you can't pull the needle back out of the clamp,, if you can something is wrong with the needle clamp or the screw
SOURCE: i have a two needle machine. i am currently only
the flat side goes toward the back of the machine. Yes, push it all the way up in the carrage, before tightening the screw.
also check the thread tension to make sure it's not to tight for the thread
also use a can of air in the looper area at least once or twice a month, depending on how much you use the machine
always keep the machine covered when not in use to keep dust out of the machine
