Question about U-Line Icemaker
If I warm up the bottom of the icemaker with a hairdryer it will struggle to complete the cycle and dump the ice. Is it possible that too much water is allowed into the unit and that the ice is too thick ? Should I just replace the unit ?
I dont believe its too much water. You may have a problem with the heater not coming on. If your icemaker advances then the termostat is calling for it. The ejector blade would bounce from the 1 oclock to the 2 oclock position until the heater warms the mold enough to allow the ejector blade to push the ice out. If the heater is out I would replace the complete icemaker
