Question about Philips Computers & Internet
I have monitor Philips 200P7. Every 5 seconds it displays this: OSD MAIN CONTROLS LOCKED/UNLOCKED. Then after some time, it displays Monitor Setup and it moves cursors by itself. I really don´t know what to do. Thank you in advance
I think the main board is flaky in that monitor. Hook up another known good monitor to that computer and see if it behaves in the same way.
If it does behave in the same way then you know its either the video card or the motherboard if you have an integrated video connector to the motherboard.
If it goes away then you know the phillips monitor is bad.
If its the phillips monitor that is bad for sure. You can try taking off the front cover and try cleaning the contacts on the main board in the front of the monitor. Could be that a few of them have dust or dirt and is activating those buttons by accidents inadvertently.
