Gigabyte hard drive rails

Now it may not seem like a big thing but i've found getting hard drive rails for the Gigabyte 3D Aurora to be near impossible. So its not a tech problem, its a how do I mount hard drives without rails?

The case did come with them but the guys I got to build my PC lost em all as at that time I had an IDE HDD which could fit in a Floppy drive slot.

Where can I find these Gigabyte Rails?

Hi, I think your best bet would be to log onto the Gigabyte site and look for their reccomended traders. If this fails go to Ebay and place a "Want It Now" add to see if someone has what you need.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do i disable onboard video on a intel d865glc motherboard?

A couple things to try:
  1. Most important, check with Intel's support site to see if you have the latest version of the BIOS.

  2. Boot to the BIOS: Choose "Configuration", then "Video", choose "Enable if Primary" or if you're feeling brave choose to Disable it entirely. WARNING: DON'T do this until your other card is working properly! You've been warned!

  3. While still in BIOS: Choose "Configuration", then "Video", choose "AGP" if available, or "Auto" if AGP is not an option.

Information from Intel support website.

My system won't boot but there is power

The things to check when your system will not post are RAM (make sure it is in all the way) Hard Drive (make sure it is properly connected) Your CD/DVD drives (again check connection) and your video connection (if you have onboard graphics, this may not apply, if you have a seperate video card make sure it's properly secured in the PCI slot)

Once you've checked all of these things, if you still have a problem, listen for the beeps that come from your computer's motherboard and remember the order of short and long beeps. Respond with the beep sequence and type of computer you are using.

Gigabyte GA970AUD3 Refuses to Boot

did you replace the PSU power supply unit with a new or a heavy duty one
if its struggling with the fans winding you might need more power /grunt
also check cmos battery for a secure seating and has plenty of charge/power
check leads from motherboard to hard drive make sure all connections are secure
i read something about low resistance fuses on your motherboard you might want to check these

check the ammount of ram and compatability
If you're not sure if a module is right for your system, use the Crucial Memory Advisor tool for a list of guaranteed compatible modules.
hope this helps you
