All of the lights on the front flash, Ive tried unplugging it and plugging it back in later. if I tap the continue button twice for the secondary error code it only blinks the paper jam light.. I have checked the tray area, toner area, and rear and there is no paper jammed or any loose paper, looks completely clear and clean, I am very baffled, appreciate any help, thanks.

When a printer indicated paper jam, it means one of its sensors does not indicate a movement of paper, where it expects it. In only rare occasions the sensor is defect, but most of the time here is really a jam. This must not be a complete sheet of paper. Can be a little scrap left somewhere in the printer. Sometimes a paperclip fell in or just a paper tray was not put in place. Please open the printer and look careful using a flash light, to see if you can find anything that does not belong in the printer. Then switch it off and really unplug it for a few seconds. Reinsert the plug and switch on. If the error keeps coming back you should call a service centre, although ig you have to send it in for repairs, a new printer is probably cheaper, unless it is still under warranty.
Have you tried turning it off? If you haven't tried it after getting the paper jammed, then turn it off. Just make sure that the paper is removed.
After turning it off, unplug it from the wall outlet and from your computer. Press and hold the power button for 5-8 seconds so that you can drain the power completely.
Plug it back in the power outlet. Turn it on.
Plug it to your computer and check if you still have the same error. If the flashing lights still occur, make sure that all papers which are jammed are removed. There might be some small paper left inside your printer.
Hi Girlemom. Just had the same problem here. Lift up the lid and slide the ink cartridges to the left. If they are stuck in the middle, this will prevent the printer from starting properly. Then, unplug it, plug back in, and turn on. It should restart normally.
When the orange light is flashing, either paper jam or ink problem is happening.Try unloaging & reloading the stack of paper in the main tray. Remove & reinsert ink cartridges in the printer. You may also clean the contacts of the cartridge and inside the product.
check the paper path, specially where the paper is being pickup. it might still have a small peice of paper stuck in the path. pull out the paper tray. can check the paper path in the front of the printer.
use a flash light if you can not see inside.
unplug it printer after you finished. wait 10 sec and plug it back in. that will clear the printer of any remaining print job, and rest the printer.
