Can i use a tenergy nimh 7.2 v 3800 on my battery operated rc car, the infinitive ep rtr off road truck?

This Axial SCX10 chassis is an off road rig. A Ready To Run one out of the box probably goes as fast you can run. They weren't designed for speed but, if you read up on gearing, Lipo batteries and motors for Axial RC's you'll find you get a lot of speed out of it. BUT BE WARNED! You'll start breaking parts if not careful! The parts were designed for the off road trailing, not racing. There are expensive upgrades that will let you get more speed and power and withstand some of the abuse that goes with it. You can't a better rig to upgrade than an AXIAL rig.

could be esc or motor it self

maybe your batts are crapping out, have you tried a new batt? sometimes the speed controler boxes get burnt out also

Think more than likely you have burnt out the speed controller as this is the first to go before the motor

Let me say this; The battery replacement for the Electrolux is not a owner level replacement procedure. However, you can replace the 4 original EMX1600sS batteries . The battery model is Tenergy 2/3A Size Rechargeable Battery 1.2V 1600mAh NiMH W/ Tabs Those are a little smaller than the originals but with the same capacity of 1600mAh and can be easily found in the web. Anything under those specs should work. These types of battery's will cost about $15.00 on the web. The battery's are in the hand held unit bottom or back side area, you access them by taking out all the screws in the back side of the hand unit.

I think it is 2 1/2 turns for both needles. This is 2 1/2 turns out from all the way screwed in
