Celestron Nexstar 11 GPS Electrical problem

Got a Nexstar 11 with a short in the circuit somewhere. a schematic would really be helpful. I've already found two pinched wires from sloppy assembly, but I'd hate to have to completely disassable the mount looking for more. Thanks.

Hi, Could you please tell me where I might be able to get my Celestron Nexstar 11 GPS Telescope repaired? The corrector plate needs to be replaced. Is there anyone that could help with this? Regards,...

The scope will need to be returned to Celestron. The Corrector plate must be matched to the rest of the optics inside the tube. This is an EXPENSIVE repair ! Call Celestron here:

The screws should be short enough not to stop the primary's travel, but pull them out and try it again. Good luck! George.

Be sure that the Azimuth Axis is Lock, you migth want to try and move the telescope in the Azimuth to make sure it is it is locked. Be carful not to force it. I have seen on some post where the locking part of the Azimuth somtimes breaks. and the Azimuth Axis will just spin freely Locked down or not.
