Question about Pioneer AVH-P6000DVD Car DVD Player
I just got a car audio shop to install a Pionner AVH-P6000, however everytime i turn it off and get back in the car the deck has lost the time and all the settings i have input. Deck is brand new and installing it in a Commodore 05 VZ Exec. Any ideas?
Take it back to the shop and tell them to try again. What they have done is there are two power sources on stereos one come on when you start the car and operates all the stereos functions. The other is a power source that is always on is hardly draws anything so as to not wear down your battery but this power maintains the memory on the deck. they have either not installed this to a constant power or forgotten to hook it up at all. demand a re-imbursment for your troubles.hope this helps
