Question about HP OmniBook XE3 Notebook
I have recently acquired an HP Omnibook XE3 and when powered up the screen is white. The unit works fine with an external monitor so I can only assume it must be a connection fault.
Any help appreciated
You could have a faulty video cable or connector or a faulty LCD screen.
Try reseating the video cable/connector at the motherboard. If that doesn't work then a replacement LCD screen may be your option.
LCD screen replacements are available on the Internet, do a Goggle searh for replacements. You can try LCD Parts. - use this link to get to their WEB site for service, repairs, parts & DIY info.
