Well this totally depend upon email server that you are using. Generally it is pop server. For ports and server address you need to check this with the email service provider!!

If you email account is with your Internet Service Provider, they should be able to provide the information. If you are using a WEB email account like hotmail, outlook express cannot download you email. You will have to go to your account and read your mail.

How to sync my imap account with my outlook pop account? my mail provider is AOL and my mail is left on the server but I have outlook folders on my computer.

I would change my Outlook account from pop to imap so the folders sync automatically. During setup, manually set up so it does not default to pop.
AOL's imap email servers are:
Incoming - imap.aol.com
Outgoing - smtp.aol.com
Make sure you select "more settings" and under the "Advanced" tap, set the incoming server to 995 and select the SSL box, and set the outgoing server to 465

Also, if this does not help, try as a last resort use a special software.

When I forward my email it goes to blank page and wont let me send mail

Chek with your internet provider (ISP) to make sure have your e-mail accounts setup right. My ISP uses POP-server for incoming and SMTP for outgoing mail. From: outlook express tools/accounts/mail/porperties/server: in server your POPand SMPT should look the same. Larry
