my toshiba cinema series hd rptv 2000 has started doing the 3d affect it is a old full screen that is 9 years old.

- I Called the repair guy this morning and was told that it is about 250 to fix but they are willing to come in home so i dont have to lug this big thing lol... Thank you for the help you made me understand better what it is and im not that gutsy enough to try to fix it my selfBest Solution

The convergence IC's are probably bad. That manufactured year set should use two STK-392-110's. Also be aware that the low ohm resistors near the heat sink could also be bad or stressed. They would be discolored if stressed or bad. If you are not savvy with removing and replacing electronic components do not attempt repair. Call a professional.
