Accidental mp3 player accidental overload

I have an mp3 player that i accidentally did an accidental overload plus it keeps on telling me no files how do i restore my mp3 player to factory settings

Under the menu/settings/system/ they have reset settings as well as erase internal storage or external

back up your music and files on your mp3 player and go to the manufacturers website and download your firmware again and it will retore the mp3 player to the fatory settings

Accidental Rockbox file deletion


You will have to find someone with the same make/model and copy there files over to yours. This sadly is the only way to fix it.

My I-bead mp3 was formatted accidentally...


Your songs are most likely gone, formatting erases all of the data on the player.
Always back up your data on a seperate disk. Good luck.
