What does F7 meanon my ge oven

Hello,

The F7 error code means that a button on the touch pad is bad,you can clear the error code by the pushing clear/cancel button if it doesn't reoccur all is well. If it returns (what i have heard from my customers is that it always reoccurs in the middle of the night when their fast asleep) the touch will need to be replaced

I hope this helps ,if it does please give me a 4 thumbs up rating

F7 light comes on and stays on, then beeps and the ovens are both unusable. The F7 light can be cleared, but only for a minute or so. The internet tells me that we are not the only ones to experience...

You have a stuck button on the oven control.
The complete control may have to be replaced.
Try pushing all buttons several times to unstick the bad button.
If that does not work a new control is in your future.

Oven beeps and shows F7.

Hello,

These codes mean that the oven's electronic control has detected a condition it needs to check. When you see a code, follow these steps:
  • Press "Stop/Clear" to clear the display and stop the beeping.
  • Reprogram the oven.
  • If the code still displays, turn off the power to the oven at your breaker box and wait five minutes before turning it back on

thanks.

On a GE Profile Performance oven the code F7 show up on the key pad and the oven Beeps. Hitting the end or stop button stops the beepimg for about 5 minutes. Turning the power off achieves the same...

Hello there
The code can be caused by a faulty keypad or a Stuck keypad which may mean relay is turned on. Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel. :

Ge profile performance double oven. getting an F7

F7 is a stuck keypad/button.
Push all buttons at random several times each. This will sometimes un-stick a stuck button.
If that does not work the keypad control will have to be replaced.

F7 code keeps flashing on upper oven, nothing on keypad works

A function pad is probably stuck.
Push all buttons several times each. Often this will clear a stuck pad.
If that does not work replace the clock.
