How will the power supplies you suggest fit into her computer:

Yes, the connections must fit, the wattage must be sufficient but the ones you suggested are not the same in width or height. Look at it.

    Here is what you suggested:

    Here is what she has:

    See her computer:

How can what you suggest possibly fit?

Except, this isn't even a micro ATX; it's even smaller than that. Sometimes they go by FlexATX, but I think even this one is different than Flex, though similar.

juy, checked the link and skimming through all the products there are only ATX sized power supplies there, nothing the size of the picture that I posted.

  • Jorge Majano May 11, 2010

what matters is that the connections fit, the wattage is sufficient, and that the power supply is same size in width and height, depth does not matter, and i also looked up the specs of the power supply on cnet.com and it says that it needs a multi-core capable power supply with SATA connectors. the picture that you pulled up is the picture of an OLD atx power supply

I've posted an answer on your original question although I didn't see the pictures.

You have a micro ATX system and while the above poster is correct regards H & W dimentiond they are less than the normal ATX ones.

Check the example link I left on your previous post.

Just as a matter of interest do you not think it may be easier to do a case swap?

Also Delta Electronic make the PSU's for Sony so it may be worth contacting them to see if they can supply you with a replacement.

This site is a complete scam. They will give you no advice. They only want to sell thier products or get you to use thier repair men. Beware..

sorry to disagree with you but fixya site sells nothing , does not ask for account details , has no repair men
we offer the best free advice possible to badly constructed questions , bad spelling and abuse when the answer doesn't agree with what a "friend" said
state your problem on the site that you have a problem with and it isn't fixya

Is this free information?

Only thing it cost is peoples time, just bare in mind that most people advise is only that "advice", So if you was to ask why your washing machine for example was making a knocking noise, and somebody said it needed a new motor, costing megabucks, but someone else said "look in the filter" costing nothing. It would be up to you what advice you thought was more helpful. And all that cost me was two minuets of my time. Good luck

Turntable not turn, light on, no heating

It would have helped if you mentioned your brand and model, but it's probably a bad door switch or door switch mount.

If it's a Sharp or Dacor brand, it's probably the bottom door switch.

My door switch text file gives you help and links for such problems. It's here.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Will a bad oxygen sensor give me bad gas mileage in my 07 pacifica with the 4.0L engine. Will hhoking it up to a computer give me any indication that it is bad.

Bad 02 sensor will give bad mileage, as car is starving for air, sometimes computers will not detect if it is bad, slot of simple performance problems results from 02 sensors, fuel filters, dirty injectors, poor fuel, dirty air filters. Those are some the main things to look at for best fuel mileage and performance. Hope this helped, please let me know. Thanks, mike from fixya

Turn oven on to 350. It clicks and goes to 100. Stays at 100 and never heats up.

Assuming a digital oven with a thermometer: The 100 degree reading is probably the lowest reading the thermometer will register.
Don't give me a poor rating because I said your question was poor. Include as much information as possible including basic description of appliance and model number. Try different things and state what works as well as what does not work.
In this way, you can get better answers. As is, I know nothing about your oven except that it does not work. My keyboard will not fix your oven. It would be helpful if you convince me that you are not afraid to physically enter your oven and touch things.

SANYO MR929 one chanel does not work - it's a reel to reel - thanks Ian

This could be anything from bad heads to a bad pre-amp section. It is unlikely that this can be diagnosed remotely. You need to find a local repair shop that works on reel-to-reel units.
